The first visuals of the Israeli-supplied Rampage Long Range Air-to-Ground Precise Strike Weapon equipped on the Indian Navy’s Russian-origin MiG-29K have emerged on social media. This integration marks a significant development in India’s military capabilities.

The Rampage is a long-range, air-to-ground, seekerless, precision strike weapon designed to destroy high-value, well-protected targets. It boasts a range of up to 200 kilometers and can be equipped with various warheads, making it highly versatile.

The Indian Navy has integrated the Rampage into its fleet of 40 MiG-29K fighter jets, significantly enhancing their offensive capabilities. The Indian Air Force (IAF) has also expressed interest in the Rampage and plans to equip it on its upgraded MiG-29UPG fleet.

The integration of the Rampage provides both the Indian Navy and the IAF with a potent weapon system capable of delivering precise strikes against critical targets with minimal collateral damage. This strengthens their ability to deter and respond to potential threats.
