The Indian Navy’s much-anticipated sixth and final Kalvari class submarine, INS Vagsheer, is set for a slightly delayed delivery. According to information received by idrw.org, the submarine’s arrival is now expected by late June 2024, instead of the earlier projected timeframe of early 2024.

This delay shouldn’t overshadow the significance of INS Vagsheer’s eventual arrival. It marks the completion of Project 75, a crucial initiative for bolstering India’s underwater defense capabilities. The Kalvari class submarines are known for their advanced features and stealth technology.

The Indian Navy will undoubtedly benefit from the addition of INS Vagsheer, enhancing its maritime security and strategic deterrence in the region.
