This high-level visit aimed to enhance the understanding of future leaders in the Indian Armed Forces on geopolitical and geo-economic issues, while strengthening bilateral defense cooperation between India and the UK.

Key Interactions:

  • Engaging with Experts: The officers engaged in insightful discussions with senior officials at the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD), Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), and National Security Secretariat (NSS). These interactions provided valuable perspectives on international affairs and strategic decision-making.
  • Field Visits: To gain firsthand experience, the delegation visited key military installations such as Air Command in High Wycombe, HM Naval Base in Portsmouth, and the Defence Academy in Shrivenham. These visits offered insights into the operational aspects of the UK Armed Forces.
