Dehradun-based startup Star Aerospace has made a significant contribution to the operational readiness of the Assam Police by delivering a substantial quantity of AK Mod Kits. This press release highlights the features and functionalities of these upgrade kits.
Star Aerospace has supplied approximately 3,000 AK Mod Kits to the Assam Police, bolstering their existing AK rifles. These upgrade kits offer a comprehensive modernization package, equipping the rifles with various tactical features.
Features of the AK Mod Kit
- Picatinny Rail: This versatile rail system allows for the attachment of various tactical accessories, including sights, lasers, and flashlights, enabling better target acquisition and aiming in low-light conditions.
- Foldable Buttstock with Integrated Cheek Pad: The foldable buttstock enhances comfort and weapon maneuverability, especially in confined spaces. The integrated cheek pad provides a more stable firing position.
- Rubberized Pistol Grip: This ergonomic improvement offers a more secure and comfortable grip, particularly during extended operations.
- 30-Round Polymer Magazine with Window: The upgraded magazine not only increases ammunition capacity but also features a transparent window for easier monitoring of remaining rounds.
- Picatinny Forehandguard with Heat Shield: The forehandguard protects the user’s hand from barrel heat and provides a platform for attaching tactical grips, bipods, and other accessories.
- Forehand Grip: This grip enhances control during burst-fire scenarios, improving overall weapon stability.
