Yesterday, ARTPARK (AI & Robotics Technology Park) played host to Shri Priyank M Kharge, the Minister of IT, BT, and S&T, Government of Karnataka, at their innovative space, ARTgarage. The visit marked a significant milestone in fostering closer collaboration between the government and the deep tech community in Karnataka, with the aim of expanding the region’s technological ecosystem.

During his visit, Shri Priyank M Kharge engaged in dynamic discussions with ARTPARK’s leadership and other key stakeholders. The conversations focused on enhancing the partnership between the government and ARTPARK to further develop and expand Karnataka’s deep tech ecosystem. Recognizing the critical role that emerging technologies like AI and robotics play in the state’s economic future, the minister emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting initiatives that drive innovation and technological advancement.

Shri Kharge underscored the importance of creating a conducive environment for startups and research institutions to thrive. He highlighted the need for collaborative efforts between the government, industry, and academia to accelerate the development of cutting-edge technologies and bring them to market. The discussions also explored avenues for increased funding, infrastructure support, and policy initiatives that could help position Karnataka as a global hub for deep tech innovation.

One of the highlights of the visit was the demonstration of the advanced technologies being developed at ARTPARK. A particular point of interest was the robot dog, a state-of-the-art autonomous system designed and developed by ARTPARK’s talented team of engineers and researchers. The robot dog, equipped with AI-driven capabilities, showcased its agility, intelligence, and potential applications in various sectors, including security, search and rescue, and industrial automation.

In addition to the robot dog, ARTPARK also unveiled their latest developments in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). These UAVs, designed for a range of applications from surveillance to agricultural monitoring, reflect ARTPARK’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation in robotics and AI. The UAVs demonstrated advanced autonomous navigation, high-precision mapping, and real-time data collection, highlighting their potential to revolutionize industries across the board.
