The Armament Research & Development Establishment (ARDE), a premier laboratory of India’s Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), is seeking a qualified consultant to support the engineering design of next-generation Pinaka rocket warhead systems.
The consultant will be responsible for the meticulous engineering design of various warhead systems and their vital components for the Pinaka rocket family.
Expertise in optimizing warhead system configurations to ensure maximum effectiveness and performance is essential. Technical Documentation: The successful consultant will be tasked with preparing detailed engineering drawings and Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs) for the designed warhead systems.
Developing comprehensive production documents will be crucial to facilitate the smooth transition from design to manufacturing of these advanced warheads. This variant will incorporate guidance systems for enhanced precision and target engagement capabilities. Two new versions with extended ranges of 120 km and 300 km are planned, significantly increasing Pinaka’s reach. The consultancy will specifically address the design of warheads for these next-generation Pinaka systems.
The development of advanced Pinaka rocket systems with next-generation warheads is crucial for strengthening India’s artillery capabilities. This project will equip the Indian armed forces with enhanced firepower, precision, and range, enabling them to effectively address contemporary and future security threats.
