Optiemus Unmanned Systems (OUS), a subsidiary of Optiemus Infracom, has achieved remarkable success at the Him Drone-A-Thon 2024, held in Leh-Ladakh from September 16th to 24th. The event, organized by the Indian Army, showcased the nation’s most advanced unmanned systems and their capabilities.

OUS’s Vajra 100 quadcopter drones proved to be standout performers, demonstrating their versatility and effectiveness in various mission scenarios. The drones showcased their potential as loitering munitions, capable of delivering payloads with precision, as well as their exceptional long-range surveillance capabilities.

During the trials at Wari La and Umling La pass, the Vajra 100 set new benchmarks and records for critical mission parameters. This achievement underscores the reliability and performance of the OUS Vajra series, even in the challenging conditions of the high-altitude Himalayan region.

In addition to its combat capabilities, the Vajra 100 also demonstrated exceptional performance in surveillance missions. It achieved a range of 5,000 meters, a height of 18,280 feet (AMSL), and an impressive endurance of 80 minutes. Furthermore, it reached a service ceiling of 19,921 feet (AMSL), showcasing its ability to operate in extreme conditions.
