New information has come to light regarding the horrific terror attack in J&K’s Reasi district on Sunday. The attack, which coincided with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony for his third term, left nine pilgrims dead and over 40 injured.
According to NDTV, three foreign terrorists carried out the assault using U.S.-made M4 Carbine rifles. A large search operation is currently underway in the Reasi forests to apprehend the two militants still at large.
The report details how the attackers targeted a 53-seater bus carrying pilgrims, causing it to careen off the road and plunge into a gorge. This incident has sent shockwaves through the region and heightened security concerns.
Authorities yet to identify the terrorist group or their motives. This is a developing story, and further details are expected to emerge.
