Vijayan Trishul Defence Solutions, a leading Indian defense company, has ambitious plans to expand its manufacturing capabilities. In the first phase, the company aims to produce small ammunition, including calibers like 7.62mm, 5.56mm, and 9mm.

Moving forward, Vijayan Trishul plans to collaborate with both international and local partners to venture into small arms production. The final phase of their expansion will involve producing medium and large-caliber munitions, such as mortar and artillery shells.

A significant milestone in Vijayan Trishul’s growth is its joint venture with Poland’s WB Group, a renowned European defense technology provider. This partnership will enable Vijayan Trishul to leverage WB Group’s expertise and technology to enhance its manufacturing capabilities.

One of the highlights of this collaboration is the planned production of the Warmate drone in India. The Warmate is a training drone that has already been successfully deployed by the Indian Army. This underscores its capabilities, which include an impressive operational range of 30 kilometers and a speed of 150 kilometers per hour.

The Warmate drone has proven its effectiveness in various military operations, particularly in Ukraine. Its deployment in India will significantly enhance the country’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities.

Vijayan Trishul’s strategic partnerships and expansion plans are indicative of the growing potential of Indian defense manufacturing. By focusing on indigenous production and technology transfer, the company is contributing to India’s self-reliance goals in the defense sector.
