The Indian Air Force (IAF) is actively engaged in bolstering its operational capabilities and international cooperation through simultaneous participation in two major air exercises.

In Sulur, the IAF is hosting the first phase of the multinational air exercise, Ex Tarang Shakti 24. This platform brings together air forces from various countries to share best practices, enhance interoperability, and strengthen bilateral ties.

Concurrently, another IAF contingent is participating in the Udara Shakti exercise in Malaysia. Here, the focus is on air combat sorties and the exchange of maintenance procedures with the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF). This collaboration aims to optimize the operational efficiency of the Su-30 fighter aircraft in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR).

These exercises underscore the IAF’s commitment to maintaining a high level of combat readiness and its proactive approach to fostering defense cooperation with partner nations. By participating in such events, the IAF not only strengthens its own capabilities but also contributes to regional security and stability.
