Russia has reaffirmed its strong ties with India, describing the South Asian nation as a “reliable partner.” Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Rudenko, emphasized the enduring nature of the bilateral relationship, stating, “Russian-Indian military-technical cooperation has a long history, is based on deep mutual trust and is not subject to foreign policy conjuncture.”
In an interview with Tass, Rudenko highlighted India’s significance as a partner, stating, “India is a reliable partner, whose friendship… we sincerely value, and we aim exclusively at strengthening it in the future.”
Regarding the ongoing delivery of S-400 missile systems to India, a commitment made in 2018, Rudenko assured that Russia is on track to complete the deliveries by 2025, as previously indicated by Indian Air Force Chief Amar Preet Singh.
The continued cooperation between the two nations in the defense sector underscores the strategic importance of the bilateral relationship.
