Sudarshan Techno Solution Pvt Ltd (STSPL), a leading drone technology company, has introduced a new 1 kg micro UAV designed for counter-insurgency operations and rapid deployment surveillance. This advanced drone offers exceptional capabilities and is well-suited for challenging environments.
The micro UAV can fly at altitudes of up to 4,500 meters above sea level, providing a wide range of operational flexibility. With an endurance of 45-50 minutes and an operational range of 5-7 kilometers, it can effectively gather intelligence and monitor areas of interest. The drone can operate in both tethered and non-tethered modes, offering versatility in deployment.
Equipped with a combination payload, including two electro-optical (EO) cameras and one infrared (IR) thermal camera, the micro UAV provides comprehensive surveillance capabilities. The IR camera boasts a 640×512 thermal resolution, enabling clear imaging in low-light and nighttime conditions. The optical camera offers a 48-megapixel resolution, delivering high-definition images for detailed analysis.
The micro UAV’s lightweight and portable design make it ideal for rapid deployment in challenging terrains. It can be easily carried by soldiers, providing a valuable tactical advantage in counter-insurgency operations. The drone is also engineered to withstand extreme weather conditions, operating in temperatures ranging from +55°C to -20°C. This makes it suitable for high-altitude warfare operations in mountainous regions.
