Following a spate of drone incursions from Pakistan, the Indian Army has deployed quadcopter jammers to protect military bases from hostile unmanned aerial vehicles in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. The jammers aid in the blocking of signals between the operator and hostile drones, allowing the forces to attack the drones with guns stationed along the border.

The jammer contributes to the disruption of the radio-wave link between the drone and the controller.
