As part of Defence Cooperation, the Indian Army presented four Explosive Detection (ED) dogs to the Royal Cambodia Armed Forces (RCAF). Notably, 15 dogs were given to the RCAF in 2016, and four dogs were approved for gifting after the COVID pandemic was stabilised.

On October 24, this year, four Explosives Detection (ED) dogs were successfully airlifted from New Delhi to Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh, along with Royal Cambodia Armed Forces (RCAF) personnel.

Prior to handing over Explosives Detection (ED) dogs to RCAF personnel, the RCAF requested that dog handlers be trained in India. Notably, from September 26 to October 23, RCAF personnel were trained for four weeks.
