The country is preparing to celebrate its 73rd Republic Day on 26 January. Meanwhile, Sikh For Justice terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu posted a video on social media claiming to have carried out the terrorist attack. In the video posted, he claimed to liberate Punjab from Indian occupation in 2023.

Pannu (Gurupatwant Singh Pannu) said in the video that on January 26, stay indoors, or you will be failed by SJF. Delhi will be our target and we will raise the flag of Khalistan. He also offered $5,00,000 to whoever hoists the Khalistan flag on the Red Fort.

After receiving the threat, advocate Vineet Jindal filed a complaint against SJF and Pannu in the Cyber ??Cell of Delhi Police. Vineet Jindal said in a statement that I was surprised to see that these accounts belong to the country, but are involved in anti-national activities. He shared a recent video of Gurpatwant Singh Pannu of Sikhs for Justice threatening RDX attack in Delhi on 26 January 2023.

Jindal further said that we all know that Gurpatwant Singh Pannu is a declared terrorist in India and SJF is a banned terrorist organization involved in anti-national activities. I am requesting you to register an FIR against Gurpatwant Singh Pannu and SFJ for threatening to kill the residents of Delhi.

Last year, the Punjab Police booked Pannu for trying to spread hatred and enmity between communities in the country and conspiring to disturb peace in Punjab. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police said it has intensified patrolling and anti-terror measures in the city ahead of the Republic Day celebrations. Police have appealed to the public to be vigilant and report anything suspicious.
