In response to the recent consecration of the ‘Ram Temple,’ Ambassador Munir Akram, the Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations in New York, has expressed deep concerns about the situation of religious minorities in India. He emphasizes that the rights of Indian Muslims, particularly their worship places, are facing significant challenges at the hands of Hindutva forces.

Ambassador Akram highlighted the need for the international community to pay attention to the developments in India, stating that the world should take note of the apparent threat to the rights of religious minorities. In his statement, he specifically pointed out the challenges faced by Indian Muslims, including the vulnerability of their places of worship.
