Omar Abdulla On J&K Election: Former Chief Minister and National Conference leader Omar Abdullah said that after the election results in Jammu and Kashmir, on the first day of the legislative session, he will pass a resolution against the central government’s decision to abrogate Article 370 of the Constitution. On August 5, 2019, Article 370 was abrogated by the central government.

Restoring the rights and statehood that the government has taken away from the people is a difficult task. Omar Abdullah said that the main task of the elected chief minister is to work for this. The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced three-phase elections in Kashmir on Friday.

On the first day of the elected legislative session, the opposition of the people of Jammu and Kashmir to the decision implemented by the central government on August 5, 2019 will be announced not only to the country but to the whole world. Omar Abdullah said that the main task of the chief minister elected here should be to do the work to get full statehood for Jammu and Kashmir.

Voting in Kashmir will be held on September 18, 25 and October 1. The result will be announced on October 4. Following the Supreme Court’s directive to hold elections to the 90-member Legislative Assembly by September 30, the Election Commission announced the dates the other day.
