In a significant boost to India’s maritime security and shipbuilding capabilities, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has signed a contract with the Ministry of Defence’s Acquisition wing for the construction and delivery of 14 multi-role Fast Patrol Vessels (FPVs) for the Indian Coast Guard (ICG).
