An army jawan sustained injuries in a landmine explosion on Saturday along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Official sources said that army soldiers during routine patrolling along the Line of Control (LoC) inadvertently stepped over a landmine that triggered the explosion.
“One soldier suffered injuries and was immediately evacuated. He was airlifted to the Command Hospital Udhampur,” they said.
