On Tuesday and Wednesday, the defence ministers of the ten ASEAN (Association of South-East Asian Nations) nations will gather in Phnom Penh, along with representatives from the eight ASEAN dialogue partners: India, China, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Australia, Russia, and the United States. Rajnath Singh and Wei Fenghe, the defence ministers of China and India, respectively, will take part in the ‘ADMM Plus’ (ASEAN Defence Ministers Meeting Plus) gathering.

On Sunday, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence (MoD) in New Delhi confirmed that Singh would meet with his international counterparts separately from the conclave.

An individual meeting between Singh and Wei has not been confirmed and has also not been ruled out, according to sources in New Delhi.
