BEL has signed a Licensing Agreement for Technology Transfer (LATOT) with Combat Aircraft Systems Development and Integration Centre (CASDIC), a DRDO laboratory, for the transfer of Digital Radar Warning Receiver technology.

BEL described the Digital Radar Warning Receiver as a “state-of-the-art, airborne electronic warfare system that would provide versatile situational awareness to a fighter platform in a dense signal scenario, offering excellent sensitivity, good parameter measurement accuracy, and a high probability of intercept against dense signal” in a statement issued on Friday (18 November).

According to the agreement, CASDIC will transfer complete details of the technical know-how, testing and maintenance method for quality assurance to BEL, along with the necessary data on the product’s operation.
