Mistral Solutions, a subsidiary of AXISCADES Technologies Ltd, has achieved a major deal of Rs 90 crore with Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) to provide Radar Processing Systems. This huge project entails the conceptualisation, implementation, and provision of eight systems specific to the Arudhra MPR within four years.

The Arudhra MPR, a multi-purpose, 4D indigenous radar developed by DRDO, has capabilities to automatically detect and track different aerial objects. Mistral’s responsibilities include the radar signal processing system that enhances India’s defence system under the Government of India’s Make in India campaign.

CEO and MD of AXISCADES, Arun Krishnamurthi has conveyed pride in securing this order while asserting the company’s focus on enhancing defence technologies developed indigenously.

Mistral Solutions’ CEO, Mujahid Alam, underlined the company’s specialisation in defence technology and willingness to help India become less dependent on foreign imports.

Radar Processing Systems are instrumental in defining Mistral’s prowess in rugged liquid-cooled systems capable of operating in various conditions. The Arudhra Radar is now ready to be used in the Indian Armed Forces, which is a triumph for AXISCADES and a boost for the country’s defence system after passing field trials.
