On Saturday night, a high-intensity explosive blast caused cracks and a broken flange on the track of the Udaipur-Ahmedabad rail line at the Odha Railway bridge. Residents near the track were terrified after hearing a loud bang last night.

A major tragedy was averted as there was no train operation on this route following the incident, which may appear to be a conspiracy to blow the rail track or a mistakenly dropped packet of explosives being transported from a local area of Zawar mines.

A few detonators were also discovered at the explosion site by the Railway track patrolling team.
