The Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE), a premier research and development laboratory under DRDO, is currently on the lookout for highly skilled UAV pilots to join its team.

The organization is seeking individuals with extensive experience in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operations to contribute to the design validation flight trials of various UAVs currently under development.  

Key Requirements for UAV Pilots:

To be eligible for these crucial roles, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Flight Experience: A minimum of 1000 flying hours on UAVs.
  • UAV Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in UAV operations.
  • Instructor Certification: Must have undergone and successfully completed a UAV Test Course from ASTE or a recognized test school/institution.
  • Academic Qualifications: A graduate or postgraduate degree in Science or Engineering, or ex-service cadre with relevant UAV experience.

ADE’s ongoing research and development efforts in the field of UAVs are aimed at enhancing India’s defense capabilities and addressing emerging technological challenges.
