Reports of Myanmar having advanced negotiations with Pakistan to licence-build JF-17 fighter has not gone down well with Pakistani Netizen who have criticised its government decision, even when Pakistan government has repeatedly raised Rohingya issue at UN, OIC.

Pakistan is seen has a leading Muslim voice in the humanitarian crisis in Myanmar and seeking the intensification of diplomatic and moral pressure on the government of Myanmar to grant adequate citizenship rights to the Rohingya community, in accordance with international humanitarian laws.

But Sale of Sino-Pakistan co-developed JF-17 fighter to Myanmar has exposed dual standard of the Pakistani government, at one hand Government is raising special funds to provide food and other assistance to Rohingya Muslims and at another hand, we are providing weapons which will be used to kill more Muslims voiced a Pakistani Netizen on Dawn Newspaper.

JF-17 fighter deal with Myanmar has put Pakistani government in a peculiar situation since it has been a vocal critic of the Myanmar regime at International forums and this deal will be used against Pakistan by other Muslim countries feels another Pakistani Netizen.

Many Defence Analysts feel it may have been China which has forced Pakistan to take a stand on JF-17 fighter deal and it might be also the first instance in so-called Joint venture, where Pakistan has been exposed that it has little or no say at its export rights of JF-17 which is allegedly co-developed by both China and Pakistan .
