Unfazed by mounting criticism over Data leak of Scorpene Submarines DCNS and Defence shipyard Mazagaon Dock Limited (MDL) have been pushing for a repeat order for three Scorpene-class submarines so that money spend for transfer of technology [ToT] for the Scorpenes currently under construction would be recovered and also to bargain with DCNS  for improved technology to develop improved Scorpene Submarines .

Dubbed Scorpene Plus by Mazagaon Dock Limited (MDL) will come with host of improvements proposed by French DCNS and MDL like a new anaerobic propulsion system (AIP) developed by the DRDO.

Since Data leak of Scorpene Submarines, Indian Navy reportedly has request for 14 Changes in Scorpene Plus and later also to be carried out in all 6 Scorpenes which were ordered under Project-75.

India and France are also likely to hold talks on how Data leaks can be covered by altering effected leaks to minimize leak effect and also talk about how to improve the Scorpene Submarines in terms of technology inside while exterior remains the same.
