While Major Aerospace companies will again hog the spotlight at the Paris Air Show, But India’s Major Aerospace company Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) too has put up stalls to promote export of many of its products to many potential buyers.
HAL at Paris Air Show can be found at Chalet 128 and will display models of LCA-Tejas, BAE-Hawk and of Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) according to Industrial sources close to idrw.org.
The spotlight will be on HAL developed Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) which will be showcased to potential Buyers since it is all set to enter limited series production in India from next year.
LCH generated a lot of Interest from visiting delegates and air force officials also in this year’s Aero India 2017 and Airforce Chief of Myanmar was also given detail presentation along with access to prototype. HAL sees a great export potential for dedicated Attack Helicopter which is customised for High altitude operations since many Attack Helicopters lack High altitude operation capability.
LCH is a twin-engined dedicated combat helicopter in 5-6 tonne class with narrow fuselage, tandem seating for Pilot & Co-Pilot/WSO. It incorporates a number of stealth features such as reduced visual, aural, radar & IR signature and crashworthy landing gear.
