The Indian Air Force aerobatic team Sarang (Peacock), will be participating in the MAKS-2021 International Air Show, which will be held from July 20 to 25 at the Gromov Flight Research Institute’s airfield in Zhukovsky, near Moscow. Sarang on its tweeter handle published pictures of the HAL manufactured Dhruv helicopter being loaded into C-17 strategic transport aircraft from the Indian Air Force base at Yelahanka near Bangalore.
Sarang Teams’ first public display was on 23 Feb 2004 during Asian Aerospace in Singapore and since then it has been a regular feature at Aero India and also at multiple International Air Show. All of the team’s helicopters are painted in red and white and peacock figures at each side of the fuselage. Also, they are equipped with white smoke generators.
Russia will be displaying IL-112B, IL-114-300 aircraft, Ka-32A11M, Ansat-M, Mi-171A3 helicopters, as well as the S-350 Vityaz long-range SAM system.
