Dassault Aviation has begun ground trials of first India bound Dassault Rafale fighter jet which will be handed over to Indian air force by end of September 2019. According to media reports, first made for India Dassault Rafale fighter jet should have its first flight by 14th of next month from French Istres airbase.
IAF’s Technicians and pilots are already been trained in French airbases by its counterparts to fly and service this jets back home. Dassault has confirmed that India specifics enhancements will be integrated and tested in India since current production line will only deliver aircraft configuration which is already in production.
Recently Dassault aviation owned Rafale fighter jet performed first flight with India specifics enhancements which was monitored by a team of senior pilots and technicians from India who were impressed with its capabilities and found it satisfactory.
