BrahMos Aerospace Limited will be showcasing BrahMos Supersonic cruise missile at Asia-Pacific’s largest maritime and air exhibitions ” Lima 2017 ” in Langkawi, Malaysia.

Malaysian government supported event, will start from 21st March until 25 March 2017. Organisers of LIMA 2017 are claiming that more than 500 exhibitors from 31 countries, 350 defence delegations from 38 countries, 600 media personnel from 127 agencies were be attending the event.

Malaysia has been Interested in procuring Brahmos missile from India for Coastal Defence and recently also shown interest in acquiring BrahMos-A which is Air-launched cruise missile for integration into Royal Malaysian Air Force Su-30MKM.

Sukhoi Su-30MKM operated by Malaysia is based on the Su-30MKI of the Indian Air Force minus Israeli avionics. India and Malaysia have also set up ‘Su 30 forum’, which is a joint platform that is used to exchange information on training, maintenance and technical support of the fleet.
